Granby Barn Quilt Tour
Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Town of GranbyJoin us for a leisurely self-guided vehicle tour of some old, and newer, barns in the Town of Granby, Massachusetts. Each has a 4' x 4' plywood "quilt" mounted on the barn.
Please download the attached map which includes a listing of each barn and quilt on the tour. Follow the numbers on the map to choose your own route; but enjoy the designs, the color and the architecture of these special barns. The tour is approximately 28 miles and takes approximately one hour to complete.
Please remember to respect the privacy of our barn owners and view barns from the road. We ask that you not trespass on private property.
Please see the attached flyer for more information!
The second Thursday of each month at 6:30pmThe Granby Free Public Library's Book Circle will be starting back up via Zoom in April, on April 8th at 6:30pm. The Group will be reading "Ordinary Grace" by William Kent Krueger. Contact the library now for a copy!
Joining a book group has great benefits. You will be encouraged to read more, explore outside genres you normally read, and make new friends. The Granby Library Book Circle covers a wide range of genres which include both fiction and non-fiction titles. Group members vote on titles they want to read a few months in advance. The discussions are always very lively and entertaining. Upcoming book titles are available at the library in different formats - regular print, large print, and audio.
