The Granby Free Public Library Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to college-bound high school seniors based on demonstrated academic achievement and community service through volunteering at the Library.
The students eligible for the award must be graduating high school seniors who reside in Granby or attend Granby Schools and intend to continue their education. Consideration will be given to academic achievement (minimum 2.5 GPA) and the student's community service record. A minimum of 45 logged Library volunteer hours must be completed per each junior and senior year of high school. Students must submit a scholarship application and required essay.
The application deadline is May 1st.
