Friends of the Granby Library

The Friends meet on the third Thursday of each month at 4:30pm

The "Friends" are a group of community members interested in working together to promote and support library services. The Friends invite every Granby resident to join us in supporting the contributions we make to our library and town. 170 plus patrons of the Granby Free Public Library support the library as "Friends." The Friends of the Library make library programs and all the extras possible.

Friends Mission Statement:
The Friends of the Granby Free Public Library is a non–profit volunteer organization that supports the Library as a vital literary, cultural, and social center of our community. To accomplish this goal, the Friends group raises funds and encourages endowments, gifts and bequests to enhance the library’s resources, services and facilities. The Friends believe that a vibrant community benefits from a free and public library that invites sharing, knowledge, participation and open access for all.
